If you didn’t know that Daniel Radcliffe had a drinking problem, you’re not alone! He opened up about it with GQ.
Daniel Racliffe said the alcohol addiction began at age 18, during the shooting of Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince, and that since August 2010 he has been sober.
“I became so reliant on [alcohol] to enjoy stuff,” he said. “There were a few years there when I was just so enamored with the idea of living some sort of famous person’s lifestyle that really isn’t suited to me.”
“I really got away with that because there were many instances when a paparazzi shot like that could have been taken,” he says.
