“You Are Good Enough”, just a few of the words out of Kevin Costner’s mouth during his speech at Whitney’s funeral.  Her “Going Home” ceremony was held in New Jersey filled with love, kind words and music.  Hopefully Whitney can find peace now that she has been laid to rest next to her father.

Who was invited? Who didn’t show, and how is Whitney’s Daughter, Bobby Kristina coping?

Whitney’s family made sure the funeral was small and invite only.  Mel Gibson and Oprah were both invited but unable to attend.  Mel Gibson actually tried to save Whitney by providing guidance years ago at the height of her drug use.  Kevin Costner was there and spoke.  Both Ray J and his sister Brandy were in attendance and visibly upset.  Ray J was involved with Whitney on and off over the years and in the months before her death.

Aretha Franklin was supposed to be sing at the Funeral but canceled at the last minute because of health issues.  Sources close to the family say it was really because of an argument Cissy Houston, Whitney’s Mother, and Aretha got into.  Aretha insinuated that it was Cissy’s fault that Whitney got so bad.

Bobby Brown left early because of seating issues.  HERE

And Bobbi Kristina was caught getting high shortly after the ceremony.  Her family wants to get her in rehab asap.  I hope she doesn’t make the same mistakes her mother made.  So sad.  HERE
