TMZ says that Shifty has been in the coma since last Thursday and is “completely unresponsive” in the ICU.

It’s unclear what put him in the coma, but Shifty was on the show Celebrity Rehab a few years ago. TMZ says that people close to him believe the cause of he coma was drug-related.

Shifty was the lead singer of the band [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Crazy Town[/lastfm] in the late 90′s/early 2000′s.
