TRENDING STORIES ON NOW:

A blog called “Hooked On Houses” posted that:

For quicker turn-around, producers sometimes choose buyers who are already in escrow with one of the three locations shown. The other two choices that are filmed, are only shown to allow viewers the option of making the choice themselves.

Meaning that some of the people already own one of the houses they are touring “to buy!”

AVclub.com posted an article saying that participants on the show get $500 for filming and one lady named Bobi who was on the show claims:

“They won’t even consider you for the show unless you already have a purchase agreement signed, and have access to both your new home and your former home for the duration of the filming period.”

You can read about Bobi’s experience being on the show and how fake she says it was HERE

I have to admit… I’m kind of bummed hearing this news :( It was one of my favorite shows!
