TMZ says that 45-year-old Phillip Gordon Sparks is a Sheryl Crow fan who started posting “disturbing” messages about her on Facebook several months ago.

The man is claiming that Sheryl:

“had broken into his house because I was looking for his gun.”

“Other posts claimed that I was supposedly filming him surreptitiously, tried to have him arrested and that I had stolen money from him.”

Sheryl says that none of the man’s claims are true. Things became very scary for Sheryl last week though when the man showed up at the offices of the Screen Actors Guild and told an employee there that he was going to shoot Sheryl.

In her protective order she is asking that the man stay away from her, her two sons, nanny, sister, assistant, parents, siblings and managers.
