Carrie Underwood has a heart made of gold.
The star already demonstrated her generosity by her large donation to benefit the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts and now she’s taking time out of her busy schedule to make surprise visits at hospitals.
Just had a great visit at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia! @RyanSeacrest does some amazing work there bringing music and artists in!—

Ryan Seacrest created his foundation to inspire ill and injured children to stay positive and to connect with music, which he has learned is a big distraction for families facing difficult obstacles.
“Our foundation’s first initiative is to build broadcast media centers, named Seacrest Studios, in children’s hospitals across the country, allowing for patients to interact with a state-of-the-art radio/TV studio and meet some of the biggest stars in entertainment,” writes Seacrest on his website.
Little did he know just how big a star he would get visiting.
