He looks nothing like Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing, but 18-year-old Harry Styles of One Direction proves he’s got what it takes to pull off the infamous lift.

While attending the Z100 Jingle Ball’s after party in New York City on December 7, he and 22-year-old Taylor Swift were spotted doing some sexy dance moves inspired by the hit 1987 film.

They may not look as graceful as Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, but this was definitely a good effort on the part of the new couple that is already hot and heavy.

Prior to the after party, the couple performed separately at the Z100 Jingle Ball, and unbeknownst to them, someone captured video of Taylor stealing a quick kiss. Watch here:

Not everyone is happy with their flourishing relationship (how can we forget the death threats?), but for the fans who are on board, the couple is officially known now as “Haylor.”
