Earlier this week, the two performed the classic, which was featured on Bennett’s 2011 album, Duets II, together at an inaugural ball in Washington, D.C. for Obama’s campaign staffers.
Gaga took to Twitter to show off not only her ball gown, which funnily enough, was literally a “ball” gown adorned with different sized spheres, but her dapper 86-year-old date.
And here’s me and my handsome date, I simply cannot wait for our album together, he’s my darling! twitter.com/ladygaga/statu…

Mother Monster also teased fans writing: “cannot wait for our album together.”
As previously reported, the odd couple is teaming up for a jazz album that will feature a Big Band and a big time composer, who Bennett is trying to keep a secret.
“I can’t mention the composer because I don’t want anybody to do it before we do it, but there’s a great composer that’s very underrated, very famous, but not as famous as Gershwin or Porter,” Bennett told Rolling Stone last year. “But he did as many hit songs as anybody, and so we’re gonna do a big swinging album.”
Along with this joint venture, which has no release date as of yet, Lady Gaga is slowly but surely working on ARTPOP, her follow-up to 2011’s Born This Way.
Though it was originally slated for a spring release, according to her producer, Zedd, Gaga’s Little Monsters might have to wait a bit longer.
“We’ve been working on it for over a year now,” he told MTV News. “There’s still a lot of work left, so we’re definitely gonna work on this project for the next month.”
Gaga is currently touring the country with her Born This Way Ball and will be out on the road until the end of March.
In the meantime, what songs would you like to hear Tony and Gaga record together?
