TRENDING STORIES ON NOW:

“It’s like I’m dead to her,” revealed father Mark Evans to The Daily Mail. He hasn’t spoken to his daughter Adele in over a year and it doesn’t look like that trend will end anytime soon.

“It breaks my heart that Adele is so hell-bent on cutting me off like this. I knew she had met her new fella…but it was a bolt out of the blue when I found out she was expecting,” said Evans. “As soon as I found out, I wanted more than ever to get in touch and meet up so I could see how she was with my own eyes and let her know I’m here for her.”

But Adele has rejected all of his attempts. The pair always had a rocky relationship since her father left her and her mother when she was just three years old. Any opportunities to mend their relationship were squashed when Evans decided in 2011 to sell a story about her to the press.

He made a quick buck, but that was the breaking point for Adele.

“I was actually ready to start trying to have a relationship with him. He’s f**king blown it,” said Adele to Vogue magazine in 2012. “He will never hear from me again.”

True to her word, Adele hasn’t seen her father and it doesn’t look like she has any plans to reunite with him anytime soon after the interview.

Evans denies any wrongdoing and claims Adele gave him permission to give an interview.

“There’s consequences other than just getting a bit of f**king money that lasts you half a year,” added Adele. “It blows my mind. ‘I love her so much.’ Really? Why are you telling me that through a newspaper? If I ever see him I will spit in his face.”

Adele’s father insists he has no interest in her money.

“I’m not interested in her celebrity status or her money, I just want my daughter back and I want to be a proper granddad to the little one,” said Evans to The Daily Mail. “I’m missing out on so many of the joys of being a grandfather.”

It looks like Evans will continue to miss out on those joys.
