City of Orlando Buying Pulse Nightclub To Make It A Memorial To Victims

It’s the site of the “deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history” – and soon it will be a memorial to the 49 people who died and 53 people who were wounded there… says that the city of Orlando, Florida is buying the Pulse Nightclub for $2.25 million and they will eventually turn the site into a memorial for the victims of the mass shooting that happened there on June 13th, 2016.

The city will leave the site as is for the next 12-18 months and will have input from the community on how to proceed to make it a memorial site.
