If you haven’t watched the new “Gilmore Girls” episodes on Netflix, you’re missing a nice continuation of the story. The creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, was recently interviewed about the series, and asked if there would be even more new episodes.
She was asked about how the previous series ended, and if the ending of the new Netflix series episodes was intentional and worked out how she wanted. Amy said that it’s about “that curveball that life throws you.” Just when a character thinks everything is working out in life, bam, another “curveball” comes at one of them.
She also went on to talk about things in the original series that she wishes would have gone a little differently, and about some of her thoughts on future new episodes. She says that she’s tired, and has been working in Gilmore Girl world for the past year and a half, and needs a break.
The ending – that was intentional. Know the old saying “always leave them wanting more?” Well, that’s it. Amy says she’s not saying no to another series of episodes, but she’s not saying yes, either.. Check out more of the interview, but be aware, there ARE spoilers in this article, here.
