Hackers Stole Info From 1 Billion+ Yahoo Users

The data breach by hackers at Yahoo is bigger than they initially thought. NOW they are saying that hackers stole info from over 1 BILLION Yahoo users…

CBSSacramento.com says that Yahoo “believes hackers stole data from more than one billion user accounts in August 2013, in what is thought to be the largest data breach at an email provider.”

Yahoo says that they believe bank-account information and payment-card data were not affected by the breach but that “names, email addresses, phone numbers, birthdates and security questions and answers” may have been stolen.

Yahoo says that are “requiring users to change their passwords and invalidating security questions so they can’t be used to hack into accounts.”
