James Blunt Joins Ed Sheeran On U.S. Tour

Ed Sheeran’s recent hiatus brought him a lot closer to one of his label mates: fellow Englishman James Blunt.

According to The Sun, the pair grew very close while Sheeran was taking a break from singing hit songs. The two went on skiing trips to Switzerland and were both involved in a faux-knighting incident with members of the royal family. While not completely confirmed, the widely believed story is that Princess Beatrice accidentally sliced Sheeran’s face with a sword while pretending to knight him, leaving him with a scar on his cheek.

Now it’s been announced that Blunt will be joining Sheeran on the U.S. leg of his upcoming tour. A source has been quoted saying:

“Ed and James have a real laugh together, it’ll be proper madness on tour. James has a good following in the US so he’ll also play some gigs too, acting as a support for his mate.”

On top of all that, the two have begun writing songs with each other as well.

Let’s hope the pair have a great time touring together!

We would like to announce our engagement
