Could a “world class” aquarium being coming to Downtown Sacramento?
SacBee.com says that at his first State of the Downtown, Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg had some ideas for the $170 million dollars that is planned for a “revamp of the convention center.”
He suggested ideas that would make Sacramento a “destination city” and encourage more visitors to come here, like:
“a world-class aquarium, a public market, a “grand urban park” or a plaza with an outdoor movie screen between the convention center and the Community Center Theater.”
How cool would a “world class” aquarium be? We’ve got our fingers crossed.
