‘Fixer Upper’ Chip Gaines Getting Solo Store

It’s true, Chip Gaines from the home improvement show “Fixer Upper” is getting his own store, independent and separate from his wife and co-host Joanna Gaines.

They’re not splitting up, don’t worry, but a sort of running gag is that Chip has his own little corner of their current store which they call “Chip’s Corner.” He sells shirts, hats, small tools – stuff like that.

Well, if you’ve been watching the show, and I don’t want to spoil anything, they came into some new property with more space, and they’ve built a new shopping complex called “Magnolia Market.” In it they have a larger store and workshop, a bakery, garden store, and are expanding some more this year. “Chip’s Corner” is going to have all 4 corners in its new space (although it will be in an old silo, so it technically doesn’t have any corners), and will be offering even more products.

Their shopping center is already a major tourist attraction, and there are upwards of 20,000 visitors a week in the small town of Waco. Looks like business is good. More details here.
