Ed Sheeran Turned Away From His Own Label’s Grammy Party

Ed Sheeran was not allowed into a Grammy after-party put on by his own recording label. Not just this time, but this is actually the 4th year in a row that he was denied entry. Ouch.

The Grammy after-party was held at the Warner Music Block Party in LA, and apparently it filled up to maximum capacity in under an hour. Ed showed up a little late, and wasn’t allowed to join in on the celebrations. Ed says it’s ok though, because he seems a little annoyed about after-parties, saying about this one that it’s all “just people from L.A. who didn’t go to the Grammys and probably just want a party to go to.”

His backup plan was a house party in Hollywood, and he showed up early. He was one of the few people there, and then he says “suddenly 2,000 people turned up and I was like, ‘I’m going.'”

He says he does well on stage because that’s his element, but when he’s in a crowd or talking one-on-one, he feels uncomfortable. We get you, Ed. Crowds are overwhelming.
