A truck driver reported being hit by a car two times in a row. The first time the car his his truck, he slowed down to pull over. That’s when the same car ran into him again, “spinning out,” and then taking off. He stopped his truck, which was full of chickens, and called police.
Once police arrived to the scene, they found a license plate in some of the debris left over from the car that ran into the truck. This gave them a name to follow up with. They made a visit to the address the license plate was registered to.
Judith Armstrong lives in Georgia, and she’s a vegan. She’s the registered owner of the car that ran into the chicken truck. She says she did it on purpose, and her explanation was because, according to the police report, “she was a vegan and hit the truck due to it being a chicken truck.” She fled the scene because she was afraid she’d lose her license, she says.
She’s been charged with obstruction, a DUI, aggressive driving, and hit-and-run.
