Emma Watson Defends Nearly Topless Vanity Fair Photo

Emma Watson posed for an artistic, nearly topless Vanity Fair photo recently and was criticized for it…because she’s a feminist. Meaning, her critics think showing skin makes you unfeminist (?) and hypocritical, which simply isn’t true. E! Online reports the Beauty and the Beast star has since defended the magazine spread.

“Feminism is about giving women choice. Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women with. It’s about freedom, it’s about liberation, it’s about equality. I really don’t know what my t*ts have to do with it. It’s very confusing,” she said in an interview, adding, “I’m confused. Most people are confused. No, I’m just always just quietly stunned.”
