British Flight To San Francisco Delayed Due To Mouse

It was the littlest delay ever, despite being 4-hours.

Passengers were loaded on the plane ready for takeoff, but then received orders to get off the plane. The reason was a small creature, a mouse, that was seen running around the plane. The problem with a mouse running around is that it could easily chew through important wires, cables, or other important things (nobody wants a hole in the sewage line on an overseas flight).

Originally the flight was cancelled, according to one passenger who posted on Twitter. Luckily the airline was able to find another plane and take off just 4 hours behind schedule.

It seems like passengers had a decent sense of humor about the situation though.

Even British Airways cracked a joke, saying “We know almost everyone wants to fly with us to San Francisco, but on this occasion there was one very small customer who we had to send back to the gate. Everyone with two legs is now on their way to California, and we are sorry for the delay.”
