SacBee.com says that the median for a 2-bedroom place in Sacramento was about $1,450 in January of this year. That’s an increase of $100 from Jan. 2016 and $250 more than Jan. 2014!
So how much do you need to make to have that $1,450 per month apartment? Well, the article says that real estate experts advise to spend more than 1/3 of the household income on rent. That means your household would have to make $52,200 a year to afford that $1,450/month apartment! 😲
