Jonah Hill was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon talking about his weight loss. He revealed that he had to gain weight for his role in “War Dogs” in 2016 (actors are dedicated, I keep saying that, they destroy themselves for movies), and said that he really wanted to lose the weight, plus some.
He called up his buddy Channing Tatum and asked him “Hey, if I ate less and go to a trainer, will I get in better shape?” Channing’s answer was blunt, and to phrase it with clean language here on the website, “Why yes, in fact you will lose weight” (paraphrased), followed up with “it’s the simplest thing in the entire world” (direct quote).
See the new picture of him leaving the gym here.
Jonah says he used to live “like a frat guy,” as in his diet was a lot of burgers and beer. He says that a better diet came with maturity. He’s keeping a food diary now too, and talked about the time he accidentally sent it to Drake instead of his doctor. Pretty funny story, and it’s something we’ve all done in one form or another, it happens.
He’s looking great, and we’re glad he’s found himself a weight training plan that works for him, we know it’s tough sometimes.
