Yep, Amazon has to pay out a 70-million-dollar lawsuit. It has to do with children making purchases on their App store. See, when Amazon first launched their store, they didn’t require passwords for purchases. The lawsuit covers time between 2011 and 2016, so if your child made purchases that you weren’t ok with, you’re entitled to a refund.
This is the same sort of situation as the Google and Apple app stores too, there were kids who ended up sticking their parents with huge bills because of lax parental controls.
