Court Rules Mel B. Can Not Have Sex Tapes Back

A court ruled that Mel B can not have custody of the sex tapes that her soon-to-be ex-husband has stashed away somewhere. However, she has a temporary restraining order against estranged husband Stephen Belafonte, and that order protects the release of the tapes – as in he is not allowed to release those tapes in any way to anyone for any reason.

Mel B filed for divorce from Stephen a few weeks ago under rumors of abuse and forced-3-way “private time,” and several other allegations. It’s apparently been a pretty nasty fight so far, and it sounds like things are getting resolved slowly. Stephen was asked to leave the family’s home and not only stay away from Mel, but keep away from her 3 daughters, too.

Mel B. says Stephen admitted that the sex tapes are in the possession of their ex-nanny (who Stephen is rumored to have gotten pregnant, although the pregnancy was terminated), for the purpose of hiding them, and preventing anyone from finding and destroying them.

We hate the abuse in the relationship and hope all the drama gets cleared up quickly and Mel gets away from the abuse, but honestly, maybe don’t make sex tapes. Those always come back to haunt people somehow. See more details of the split here.
