After over 6 days of deliberating, a jury finally came to the conclusion that Aaron Hernandez, the ex New England Patriots player is not guilty in the 2012 drive by shooting.
The claim was that Hernandez shot and killed two people, Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado on July 16, 2012 because one of them spilled a drink on him earlier that night at a club in Boston. He was however found guilty of illegal possession of a firearm and will serve 4 to 5 years for that charge according to TMZ.
Hernandez is currently serving life in prison for the murder of Odin Lloyd. See his reaction to the verdict HERE.
