Local Chick-Fil-A’s Cow Costumes Stolen

No more Chick-Fil-A cows in Folsom, at least not until the stolen costumes are either returned, or corporate sends them some new ones.

Last Sunday while the restaurant was closed, someone broke into a storage room and stole the outfits. Three costumes, actually, and the restaurant just wants them back with no questions asked, they’re saying. Hospitality Director James Daack says he hopes it was just a prank, and they’re just looking to get the cows back. They’re hoping that with all the attention the theft has been getting that someone will simply drop them off.

Police Sargent Andrew Bates says that he does expect them to turn up, because “It’s not like somebody can dress up for Halloween in that,” and “it’s not money that someone can spend.”

Also, fun fact, apparently theft of cows is called “rustling.” Fascinating.

We’re hoping the outfits get returned, prank or otherwise.
