Facebook Helps Arrest Two People Using Stolen Credit Card In Roseville [PICS]

Thanks to Facebook followers of the Placer County Sheriff’s Department, two people were identified and arrested after using a stolen credit card in Roseville. See the video…

The Placer County Sheriff’s Department writes:

“Last week, we posted a photo of a couple using a stolen credit card to buy $450 worth of items at a Lowe’s store in Roseville. Thanks to our Facebook followers, they were quickly identified and arrested yesterday.

Maurice Wilkes, 37, and Katherine Wilkes, 27, both of Auburn, were taken into custody after attending court in Roseville. They were both charged with identity theft, possession of controlled substance for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and conspiracy.

Maurice’s bail is set at $165,000 and Katherine’s is set at $105,000.”

Great job to the Placer┬áCounty Sheriff’s Department for catching these two and great job to their Facebook followers for identifying the people and helping in their arrest!
