“Magic Mike Live” is officially open at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and this isn’t your typical male review according to the man behind it all, Channing Tatum.
He talked to People about what can be expected at this show. I’m going in about a week and a half and let me tell you, I can’t wait. My friends and I each got a ticket to the show, costing $125 a piece, but after reading this, I am more than confident that it will be worth every penny.
Channing said it’s not stripping, it’s a performance including dancing, comedy and sometimes live singing. They actually make fun of typical male reviews that dress up as cowboys, firemen and other cliche stripper costumes. The show is 90 minutes long and comes fully equipped with lap dances. Here’s another really cool part of the show, they don’t accept dollar bills. Instead you are provided with a red slip that says “you’re welcome” to show appreciation. Channing said to people who are expecting the full blown Magic Mike movie experience will get that AND MORE. He said,
“With this, we didn’t have any rules so we just started creating crazy sh*t and no one told us that wasn’t allowed.”
