Prince’s Posthumous EP Postponed For New Reality Show

Prince’s family will be featured in a new reality show about their lives after his death and it will allegedly feature unreleased music by the late music legend – and is the reason why Prince’s posthumous ‘Deliverance’ EP was blocked from release.

Remember when there was supposed to be an EP released on the one year anniversary of Prince’s Death? Well, according to TMZ, Prince’s family shut the EP down so during their new reality show, they can feature unreleased music from the late artist.

The family of Prince is in a huge war with the ‘Deliverance’ producer, George Ian Boxill who is upset because “the family has yet to ink a deal with a production company.” Boxill has been ordered to turn over all music to the estate until further notice.

In the meantime, on June 9th, Warner Bros has plans to release two concert videos, as well as a 3 disc album of remastered versions of Prince’s songs. Some of the remastered songs include extended mixes of ‘Purple Rain’ and ‘Darling Nikki’. For the complete list of all remastered songs click HERE
