Nothing was wrong with anyone involved, as far as sobriety – the toddlers were actually driving in their battery-powered ride-along toy car, like a Power Wheels.
Alex, the children’s father, said they were just going for a family walk (drive) down the sidewalk in NYC, when police officers flipped on their lights, pulled to the side of the road, actually stopping traffic and making a big deal about everything. People were watching, confused, and trying to figure out if what they were seeing was really happening.
It turns out the officers were just trying to have a good time, and they wrote the boys a fake citation. 2-year-old twins Aaron and Evan even had great reactions – one of the boys rejecting the ticket before placing his head down onto the dash of the “car,” and the other actually gave one of the officers a high-five. The boys were merely given a “warning” for driving on the sidewalk. Cute! Check out the video just below.
