Anthony Sadler has had quite the past couple years. It all began with him and his friends Spencer Stone and Alek Skarlatos when they stopped a terror attack on a French train. Since that day, the trio have been awarded, recognized, written a book, are about to have a movie made about them, and now earning college degrees.
Anthony Sadler just graduated on Saturday from Sac State, earning his “Made at Sac State” pin, and his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with emphasis on physical education. He actually graduated a year late, after taking the year off due to a newfound schedule he had with speaking events, book signings, interviews – the works. College President Robert Nelsen even gave Anthony recognition, speaking about his bravery during the train attack.
Anthony says the past 2 years have felt “like 10 lifetimes.” He went on to say that he wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. Anthony’s dad, Tony, said that he and his wife (Anthony’s stepmother) were “regular parents celebrating [their] son graduating from college, and [they] couldn’t be happier.”
Plans for post-graduation? “My life has just been so crazy that I’m not trying to really dive in or commit to anything at the moment. I really just want to weigh my options and just see what’s best for me.” He says he plans to consult on-set of the movie, and keep attending speaking events.
