UPDATE 8:45am: Server issues still affecting Terminal A, and while many flights are back on-time (including what looks like most from Terminal B), there are still a handful of flights that are delayed (in Terminal A), some up to almost 3 hours. Airport officials recommend printing your boarding passes at home, or accessing them from your phones.
We’ll keep you updated throughout the morning, but as of 7am 05-24-17, the network issue was repaired.
All flights leaving Sacramento’s SMF airport were delayed this morning due to a network outage, except for Southwest Airlines. The system is fixed, but the delays are already stacking up, so if you’re flying out of Sacramento today, you may want to plan ahead. The lines are long, and flights are delayed, but you may still need to arrive early because of the lines at check-in and TSA.
Also, Terminal A flights are still being delayed due to continuing network issues, so if you’re flying out of Terminal A, be ready to expect delays, maybe several hours worth.
You can see delays here.
We’ll keep you update as more information starts coming in.
