The top-10 worst companies to work for have been outed, and we were pretty surprised by a couple of them. This list is according to reviews found on Glassdoor, which is a website that gives ratings to companies based on employee reviews and a rating out-of-five.
-10) Xerox with a 2.6 out of 5, complaints include low pay, frequent company restructuring, no support from managers.
-09) Rent-A-Center with a 2.5 out of 5, complaints include low pay, and poor work/life balance.
-08) Hertz with a 2.5 out of 5, low pay, constantly changing work hours, hard to communicate with management.
-07) Forever 21 with a 2.5, complaints include too low of an employee discount, low pay, and too high expectations.
-06) Dish with a 2.5, poor communication and “lack of transparency” from upper management.
-05) Sears got a 2.5, low pay, poor work-life balance, and pressure to sell credit cards from management.
-04) The Fresh Market got a 2.4
-03) CompuCom got 2.4, an IT outsourcing company, complaints of lack of raises and advancement
-02) Kraft/Heinz Company (yes, the condiment people) got a 2.4, complaints of long hours, high turnover, poor management practices, and even hostile work environments.
-01) Alorica got a 2.3. Alorica is a call center company, and most of the negative reviews are based on work environment, upper management lack of communication, and lack of advancement.
