This story is sad and honestly shocking. According to TMZ, the incident happened Monday¬†Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta as passengers were boarding a plane on Delta Airlines. Ronald Kevin Mundy Jr., a U.S. Marine vet had boarded the plane with his emotional support animal, a chocolate lab/pointer mix. The victim, Marlin Termaine Jackson was sitting next to him according to witnesses. The dog started growling at Jackson and he said “Is this dog going to bite me?”¬†

That’s when the attack happened. The dog mauled Jackson’s face, biting him several times. He is in stable condition but was escorted off the plane, his face drenched in blood. Witnesses say Mundy was crying after the attack saying, “I know they’re going to put him down.”
