‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Filming Stopped, Contestant “Too Drunk To Consent”

During the filming of an episode of “Bachelor in Paradise,” two contestants became intimate in the swimming pool. Sources are saying that one of the parties involved may have been “too drunk to consent” to the act that continued.

Contestant DeMario Jackson allegedly engaged in a “sexual act” with a female contestant who had been drinking. An insider (presumably part of the show’s production crew) said that “The show absolutely values the primacy of consent, and this instance it appears as though conduct allegedly occurred without the proper consent having been given.”

Warner Brothers, the company behind the show, released a statement about the incident. “We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico. We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.”

It sounds like it could have been a serious situation, and we certainly hope that nothing was forced, sexual or otherwise, and that everybody involved is ok.
