Congratulations to the Golden State Warriors, as we know they won in Game 5 of the finals, and took to a traditional style of celebration – by spraying champagne all over.
The thing is, rather than the store-brand, 14-dollar bottles of champagne, the bottles the team sprayed all over the place were not cheap. They were “limited edition Moët Impérial Golden Luminous Magnum Bottles.” Those bottles cost a reported $1,200 each. You’re thinking, “well how much did they use? 4, 5 bottles?”
Somewhere around 300 bottles, actually. Those of you quick on math probably have an idea of what house you’d rather buy already. That’s $360,000 worth of champagne, sprayed all over the walls, floor, ceiling, probably clothes and gear, and a few upper-level media guys who may have been in the locker room with them.
I can think of a house (heck, even a couple houses) that I could buy with that cash, what about you?
