Kim Kardashian Explains How She Uses Social Media To Build Her Brand

Kim Kardashian and Steve Forbes got together, for a talk called “Evolving the Empire: Kim Kardashian West on Reigning Supreme,” where they discussed how she got to be as successful as she is today.

“Social media is the most important tool to building your brand. Social media requires you to be authentic and listen, especially when it comes to building your brand,” Kardashian said.

With 101 million followers in Instagram and 53.5 million followers on Twitter, she’s able to use social media as a main platform to build her brand. According to E! News, she said that she uses each platform differently. On Twitter, she loves to have conversations with people.

“I think people love to promote, but for me, I listen a lot,” she said.

In her interview with Forbes, she discusses how she uses Snapchat to show her fans what she’s doing in her everyday life, but she’s a lot more cautious about what she posts on Instagram.

“I like my Instagram to look a certain way, and I’m really a lunatic about it because sometimes there is so much pressure to post, too.”

She uses the rest of her interview to discuss her Paris robbery, her new beauty line, and how it felt to be on the cover of Forbes magazine. She ends the interview by saying,

“Not bad for a girl with no talent!”
