It seems like there are a lot of things that are fine to do, as long as you have your family with you. There are other things that are weird to bring your family to, but that’s for another post.
It’s hot outside, like we mentioned in our pet and child safety story, and that means big business for the water parks. We go to parks, most of us have been, especially since there are several to pick from in the area. But would you go now, as an adult, without your kids? Or maybe you’re just going alone to have some fun and cool down.
This brings into question – is it weird to go to a water park as a single person? We mean by yourself, not necessarily single relationship-wise. Some people seem to think that it’s weird, and maybe creepy, to see adults by themselves at a water park. Is it weird to see lone adults in a family-friendly atmosphere? It’s not something that we’ve really thought about, but there does seem to be an unspoken stigma against it. Creep-factor?
What do you think? Would you go as an adult to a water park alone? Would it just be more fun if you were with someone else your own age, or would it be more comfortable? What’s your opinion? Can you just have fun by yourself?
