If you and/or your kids are NASCAR fans, you may want to try and make your way into downtown Sacramento today before noon, because today is the seventh annual NASCAR Hauler Parade.
If you’re not a NASCAR fan, you may want to make your way out of downtown Sacramento today before noon, because today is the seventh annual NASCAR Hauler Parade.
Beginning right around noon today, there will be a few road blocks around the capitol. The NASCAR haulers are cruising through town, heading to the race at Sonoma Raceway for this weekend. The path will come across Tower Bridge, head down Capitol Mall to 9th, quick left onto N St, left on 16th, then another left (I see a theme) onto L St, then off to the highway to get to Sonoma Raceway. Elk Grove’s own Kyle Larson is a driver, and he’ll be there with his truck and team today too!
Jim Nielsen, State Senator, has official paperwork to declare today as “NASCAR Day in Sacramento.”
