Star Wars is hot right now. I mean real hot. With the sequel trilogy getting ready to debut “The Last Jedi” in December and with the Star Wars land, now dubbed “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” set to open at Disneyland in 2019 the film series is now the start of everyday conversations.
Announced at the D23 Expo in Anaheim on Saturday, a Star Wars hotel resort will be coming to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. TechCrunch announced.
According to Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, announced that a Star Wars-inspired resort will debut as part of the new Disney 360 vacation concept.
“From the second you arrive, you will become a part of a Star Wars story! You’ll immediately become a citizen of the galaxy and experience all that entails, including dressing up in the proper attire,” he said. “Once you leave Earth, you will discover a starship alive with characters, stories, and adventures that unfold all around you. It is 100% immersive, and the story will touch every single minute of your day, and it will culminate in a unique journey for every person who visits.”
It looks as if the Florida-based park will be the only one receiving plans for the hotel, however. Better start planning your trips now Disneyland fans.
