The pup was ok though, don’t worry.
Lidiane was driving down the road just like any other day when her car suddenly shut off and refused to turn back on. She did what she could to get out of the middle of the road, got out and opened the hood to check and see if she could find a problem.
I wouldn’t say finding a dog under any normal circumstances is a bad problem to have, but when you find one sharing a space with your car’s engine, that might be a bad problem. After calling the fire department, she started to get the dog out of the engine bay as a crowd was forming. Finally someone helped her before fire crews arrived, they got the dog out, and she got back in her car, which miraculously started again, and took the pup straight to the vet to see if any harm was done. The vet gave him a clean bill of health, he had zero injuries, and is now living with Lidiane and her family until someone claims him.
See a picture of the dog here.
We’re obviously happy that the dog is perfectly fine, but I’m sure it was a little scary, and could have ended in a terrible situation for both parties involved. But how did he get in there in the first place?
