Aggressive Wasps Are Out Really Early Here In Sacramento

While yellowjacket season usually happens in late summer or fall, infestations of the aggressive insects are out early this year in Sacramento.

SacBee.com says that the sting of a wasp “can sometime kill” and they’re out even earlier this year here in Sacramento.

The article says that The Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito & Vector Control District has had “numerous” calls from people who need help removing the wasp nests from their properties.

From the article:

“County residents may call the district if they need help in removing nests. If a colony is disturbed, the wasps can become persistent and pugnacious, increasing the risk of stings.”

You can also use traps for yellowjackets from the store to help if they’re bothering you.
