Baby Flamingos Were Born At The Sacramento Zoo For The 1st Time In 18 Years [VIDEO]

You HAVE to see these new flamingo chicks… 😍

SacBee.com says that for the first time in 18 years, we have baby flamingo chicks at Sacramento Zoo! The Sac Zoo posted a pic of one of them on Facebook:

Look at that face! You can see how the babies were born above and they’re being hand-reared. So after 18 years, why did the flamingo flock decide to start laying eggs this year?

A zoo spokesperson said:

“They may prefer the weather pattern we have had recently, it could be changes keepers have made to the lake, such as moving a plant from one location to another, or the current cleaning schedule, recent zoo renovations, or even all those things.”

Whatever the reason is, we can’t wait to see these new babies at the Sacramento Zoo!
