Would You Pay A Hundred Dollars For Your Kid To Skip Lunch Line?

One school is asking parents to “sponsor” their school by giving $100. That $100 gets you your last name or business logo on the school’s website and at display at PTSA events, and it also gets your kid a pass to the front of the lunch line.

The program is actually getting a lot of criticism, with some people saying it would make “disadvantaged students feel like second-class citizens.”

Surprisingly, the principal of the school is against the program, and is working to get it reversed. It’s being said that the sponsor form was included in orientation packets by error. BUT, if your child’s school were to have a program like this, how would you feel about it? Would you give the $100 so your child can skip to the front of the line, or do you feel like this is a little outrageous?
