Remember earlier this week when we told you about how Tom Cruise was injured on the set of the new “Mission Impossible 6” movie while jumping from one building to another? We got an update on his injury, and yeah, he definitely broke a bone.
There’s another video of the accident just below, but basically he was strapped to a crane, and began running full speed along the rooftop of one building. He jumped, possibly a little earlier than he should have, and caught himself, HARD, on the edge of the roof of the building he was jumping to.
Well, he broke his ankle. Production of the movie has stopped completely in the meantime. But is there a delay to the release date of the movie? Nope, it still looks like it’ll be on schedule for next July.
Aside from the ankle, he seems fine, and was actually walking on it just after it broke, although he was limping. It really seemed like he wanted to just walk it off and keep shooting.
A rep. from the production company says Tom will make a full recovery, so that’s good news. He can get back to his own stunts soon.
