A 1930s Painting Shows Native American Holding Smartphone

At least that’s what someone says it looks like. Some people are calling it “proof of time travel.”

The painting, dated back to 1937 as when it was actually painted, shows a Native American holding what looks like a smartphone. The look of concentration on his face even resembles that of modern-day teens drawn in by the soft glow of their tiny screens. The way the object is being held even resembles… You get the point.

And a close-up.

See him sort of just to the right of center, bottom of the picture in the foreground? There even looks to be a dot on the back on the “object” that might resemble a camera.

The painting, made 80 years ago, depicts a scene from over 400 years ago. Experts on the subject of tools and items of the time, saying that the painting is of a “romanticized artistic genre” speculate that the object is just a small iron blade, or even just a mirror.
