Southwest announced they are adding 5 new cities to their list of non stop flight options. They will be adding 23 non stop flights per week from Sacramento to New Orleans, Orlando, St. Louis, Austin and Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. According to the Sacramento Bee, the flights will start next Spring and roll out over the course of a few months.
Southwest’s vice president, Ander Watterson said,
“The California economy is strong, and the Sacramento economy is strong. People are traveling more, so we are responding.”
