The Anheuser-Busch brewery in Georgia is typically busy making beer. 24 different varieties of beer to be exact but when crisis strikes, they switch gears.
This week they have halted production on beer and instead provided over 50,000 cans of drinking water to those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Brewmaster Sarah Schilling said,
“Putting our production and logistics strengths to work by providing safe, clean drinking water is the best way we can help in these situations.”
The cans of water will go to the Baton Rouge, Louisiana Red Cross facility.
