Regular Concert Attendance Makes You Happy

Music is a great medicine. It’s like laughing – it can always put you in a better mood. That’s probably why, when studying “the relationship between music engagement and subjective well being,” they discovered that regularly attending concerts will actually put you in a good mood. After asking around 1,000 people, the majority of them were happier when they attended concerts than those who didn’t.

They also determined that enjoying music with friends helps even more than just going to a concert by yourself. It’s not just the music, it’s the dancing and overall having fun. It also works with just “engaging” with music, so even listening in general can help you be happy.

And it just so happens that we’re having the “Breast Concert Ever” this Friday, September 8th. Grab your tickets here, and get in a great mood for your weekend.
