Buying alcohol inside a concert, music festival, sporting event is beyond insanely expensive. Oh you want $17 for a beer? I could get a 30 pack for that price. Most of us complain, but still pay the prices except for this New York man.
Meet Alex. Alex has been to the Electric Zoo music festival for the past 4 years and knows it very well. Knows how much drinks cost, knows he doesn’t want to pay it and knows a way around paying it. Instead of trying to smuggle in booze, running the risk of getting it confiscated, he went above and beyond. He buried a water bottle full of vodka at the site of the festival.
He told LADbible, that since he’s gone to the festival for so long, he knows the layout very well.
“The planning of the burial was simple. We used Google maps and marked our spot on GPS so we knew where it would be. Then we waited.”
The hardest part was digging it up without drawing attention during the festival. He said it took him and his friends about 10 minutes but they got the job done. He uploaded some pictures from this operation on Facebook and it went viral. Now Alex is working on a book of other money saving tips for concert goers.
